Hi there, I'm Amir
About me
I earned my Master's degree in mechanical engineering at the prestigious University of Victoria in 2024. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the Sharif University of Technology in 2018 and a Master's degree in the same field with a specialization in Materials Design and Selection from the same institution in 2020, I have nurtured a deep passion for the field. During these programs, I worked at Abrah Ettesal-e-Mehr (AEM), a steel casting company, where I enhanced my understanding of materials science within the steel industry. Throughout my academic and industrial journey, I had the privilege of contributing to cutting-edge research as an R&D engineer and Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Guelph in 2021. My primary research focus has revolved around the design and characterization of materials, with particular emphasis on their applications, such as steel casting, solar cells, gas sensing, CO2 conversion and H2 evolution. With my diverse educational background and unwavering dedication to innovation, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of engineering and making a positive impact in the field.
In my leisure time, I find joy in hanging out with friends, listening to music, and playing pool.
